Four Foods on Friday

I came across this while looking through cooking blogs the other day. Seems like a fun thing to do once a week … If you want to get involved, visit the Fun, Crafts & Recipes blog. (I think I’m a little late on this one, or a little early …we shall see.)

This week’s meme is sponsored by David’s Cookies.

#1. When going out to dinner what items do your order? Appetizers, soup, salad, dinner, dessert.
Usually just an entree w/ salad. But we sometimes splurge on the whole shebang.
#2. How predictable are you when eating out? Do you usually order a meal that you’ve had before or do you like to try new things?
Depends on the restaurant we go to … some we pick new things, but others we know what’s good and stick with that!
#3. When eating at a restaurant, what beverage do you like to order with your meal?
Usually a soda or maybe wine. And always water.
#4. Name a meal that you ate at a restaurant that you liked so much you tried to recreate it, as well as the name of the restaurant and the recipe.
I”m in LOVE with the chicken salad at Pilora’s cafe in Oshkosh, Wis. It’s got such great flavor! This isn’t an exact copycat, but it’s the closest I’ve come to it. (And it came from my mom!)
