Yeah, this is WAY late, but here’s what I made for my last Raw Wednesday:
I really liked this recipe from Gena at Choosing Raw. I think I added a bit too much salt, but otherwise the flavors were really good. I loved the avocado in this – and I almost licked my fingers after massaging everything together.
For my snack, I tried Gena’s Avocado Chocolate pudding – it was OK .. It got better as it sat longer and the flavors melded. If I try this again, I might try it with cocoa instead of carob powder.
I really want to thank Gena for inspiring me to try more raw foods. I’ve learned a lot about myself and have found a few raw recipes that I really like. I’ll certainly be trying more raw recipes. There are some really yummy sounding recipes out there – and actually, I’m whipping up some homemade larabars (a serious addiction) as I type this. (Post coming later this week)
